Nayma Sheikh is a Scotland Women’s international and captain of Scotland A and East Kilbride, bringing elite experience, leadership, and inspiration to the club. A consistent performer on the international stage, she has represented Scotland at U15, U17, U19, and senior level, competing in ICC World Cups and World Cup Qualifiers.

Nayma’s achievements extend beyond the field. She is the first player from Cricket Scotland to receive the prestigious Winning Students 100 Scholar Award and is also a Young Scot Award winner, recognising her impact in sport and the wider community. Recently selected for the South Asian Cricket Academy’s (SACA) inaugural women’s programme for 2026, she continues to break new ground, including representing ICC Europe Women XI at Lord’s.
