EK progressed to the quarter finals of the prestigious Murgitroyd Rowan Cup with a comfortable win over Stenhousemuir.
Batting first good contributions from Kampman, Smith and Saeed laid the foundations, for Bocock to smash 77 from 43 balls to take us to 164-5.
In reply Stenny were restricted to 115 for 9. Good depth in the bowling saw us use 7 bowlers with Kahn and Saeed having excellent figures. The standout however was the off spin of Johnstone who ripped out the middle order to finish with 4-17 of his 4 overs.
Smith behind the sticks made the bowlers jobs easy with an immaculate display taking 3 stumpings, including one of the quick, a catch off the spinner and gaining a direct run out. There where no byes.
The quarter final will now see EK entertain Polofc some time next week.
