On a cold and overcast afternoon the Oyster Catchers complete their 4th win on the trot for the season at Stenhousemuir.

The innings was opened with EK losing the toss on a damp, yet dry, wicket and being put into bat. Harmanjit Singh and Pete had us off to a flyer although a couple of deliveries had the 2 openers bamboozled. With the score sitting handsomely at 50 for no wicket Money and Pete were out in quick succession. Money chipping to point and Pete out LBW, Brought to the crease Craig Smith who finished a fine display of attacking shot making on 62. A bit of digging from Ross Lyons who scored good 40 managed to get EK out a hole and the total to a defendable 201.

East Kilbride came out fighting in the second innings. Some excellent grabs and tidy fielding in the ring saw the home side rather ruffled to say the least. Tight opening spells from Umair Khan and Stewart Kampman had Stenny 2 down for a bit of a "Puddle". With the travelling side pumped and playing as well as they have all season, in between the rain, Stenny were 70-6. Umair Saeed, Ross, and Stewart finishing with 1 wicket a piece, Shah with 2 and Aftab who luckily found himself on a hatrick ball also finished with 2. In the end after the tail wagging a fair bit it was left to the pick of the bowlers, Khan, who bowled full and straight to get his 3rd wicket. Stenhousemuir were bowled out for 129. A clinical performance by the EK boys.
